Privacy Policy

Our core promise: we can't see your screen

Your screen is encrypted end to end and connects directly between sender and viewer when possible. When a relay is needed, it only forwards encrypted data it cannot decrypt; the video is not stored. We have neither the ability nor the desire to view anything you share.

What we collect

· Account: the email you register with; with Google sign-in, your email and basic profile (as shown on Google's consent screen). · Room metadata: technical stats such as creation time, duration and viewer counts (never the video itself). · Visitor identifier: a random identifier generated on your first visit and recorded with room usage logs to understand return visits, active days and usage duration from the same browser. It stays after sign-in, but earlier anonymous usage is not automatically attributed to your account. · Device & logs: basic technical data like browser and OS version, used to debug connection issues.

Local storage & cookies

We store your session, interface preferences (theme, language), daily casting usage and a random visitor identifier in your browser to remember settings, manage guest allowances and measure continued usage. Account casting usage is stored on the server. On sign-in, a separate random quota record identifier carries over today's guest time without charging it twice. The analytics visitor identifier is never used for authentication or permissions. Clearing local storage generates a new analytics identifier on your next visit and breaks its link to earlier visitor records, but does not reset your server-side account allowance. If storage is blocked, local records last only for the current page. Google Analytics 4 may use first-party analytics cookies to measure visits and sessions. Our GA4 integration respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization.

Third-party services

Supabase provides accounts, sign-in and usage log storage in its cloud; Google provides Google sign-in. We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4 to understand site visits and improve the experience. GA4 receives page views, browser/device information and session statistics; we remove URL query strings and fragments, replace room codes with a generic route and do not send account emails, passwords or screen content. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Retention & deletion

Rooms die the moment sharing stops; links cannot be reopened. To delete your account and all related data, contact us via the Help Center — we complete deletion within 7 business days.
